With influences of industrial hard rock, heavy metal and electronic music diluted by punk rock, and gothic sounds, Rammstein have sold over 15 million records worldwide, including multiple Gold albums and DVD releases in South Africa.

Rammstein are one of the most successful German-language bands of all time. Bass guitarist Oliver Riedel once commented that `German language suits heavy metal music. French might be the language of love, but German is the language of anger.

Since their formation in 1994, Rammstein has had no changes in their band line-up. Featuring Till Lindemann on vocals, Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers on guitars, Oliver Riedel on bass guitar, Christoph Schneider on drums and Christian Lorenz on keyboards.
