The line up for the Altech SA Grand Prix Week festivities moves up a gear with the announcement that due to major public demand.
MEGA STAR CHRISTINA AGUILERA WILL PERFORM LIVE TO HER FANS IN JOZI ON 10 NOVEMBER !!!
This concert will be held during the spectacular Altech South Africa Grand Prix Festivities from 8-13 November 2005.
CHRISTINA'S LIVE concert for ONE night only on the 10th November will be at the Coca-Cola Dome. These events will be held in support of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund , Unite Against Hunger and St Mary's Hospital in their fight against the victims of the Aids pandemic sweeping our country.
Multiple Grammy Award-winning recording artist Christina Aguilera boasts one of the most powerful and distinctive voices of her generation. Aguilera co-wrote and co-produced her latest album Stripped, which has sold over 12 million albums worldwide. It features five hit singles, including the inspirational anthem “Beautiful,” which earned Aguilera a Grammy for Best Pop Female Vocal, the singers fourth Grammy Award.
Her greatest hits include ''Genie in a Bottle,'' '' Come on Over'' and '' What a girl wants''.
Bursting onto the musical landscape in 1999, Aguilera’s highly successful self-titled debut album went on to sell over 16 million copies. With its string of chart toppers, Aguilera earned numerous accolades including a Grammy award from Best New Artist. The following year, Aguilera earned her second Grammy for her Spanish language album Mi Reflejo. In 2001, she joined forces with Lil’ Kim, Mya, Pink and Missy Elliott for the hit single “Lady Marmalade” and was honoured with a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration for its debut on the Blockbuster Moulin Rouge.
Aguilera recently completed an enormously successful world tour in support of her album Stripped. The worldwide response proved that Aguilera remains one of the premiere artists of our time.
Aguilera is currently recording her next album, which is scheduled for release in spring 2006:
